Nokia cable to connect my phone to computer to download photos works fine. What I didn't know was I needed additional software from my service provider Verizon to connect the phone, it is a vicious circle.
This is the same OEM cable that was originally shipped with my Nokia. I bought a spare because the price was so cheap. It is not a knock off but the real OEM quality cable. It allows me to communicate between my Nokia and my laptop.
I do not know if maybe I just got the wrong item or not. The cable in the pic appears to be a micro USB but what I got was a mini USB. It does not fit, so be cautions when ordering here. The bag it came in had no markings what so ever. I only paid like $2 so it's really not worth trying to get a replacement.
bluetooth is cool but drains the battery. i have one dongle and debated whether to buy another-- but you can buy a stack of cables for the price of a decent dongle, even though they are a lot cheaper now. anyway, i bought one cable at the same time as my new phone and ended up coming back for a couple more to keep at home, work, notebook bag. save on shipping and get a few.
Found it online at many places for a few dollars. In fact I got a brand new one from an Amazon affilliate for $5, which included shipping.
